Season: Mid July Through Labor Day

Juicy, sweet, and bursting with flavor—blackberries are a summertime staple at Baugher’s Orchard! We have a huge patch available for Pick-Your-Own, perfect for a fun and flavorful day on the farm. Whether you enjoy them fresh, baked into pies, or blended into smoothies and jams, our blackberries are picked at peak ripeness for the best taste. You can also find them fresh daily in both of our markets during the season. Don’t miss out on these plump, sun-ripened berries—blackberry season is one of the sweetest times of the year at Baugher’s!

Picking Tips
  • Ripe blackberries loose their shine as they sweeten. For the sweetest berries look for berries will a dull, matte finish.
  • Pick berries that are fully black and come off easily with a light pull. If the berry resists, it is not ripe.
  • Place berries gently to avoid crushing.
