Bag Policy
Bags larger than a football (when fully expanded) are not permitted in the Pick-Your-Own fields.
—
What we define as a bag: A usually flexible container used to carry or store items, made from various materials and available in many forms and functions.
*This includes: backpacks, purses, diaper bags, pocketbooks, totes, plastic bags, zip lock bags, coolers, cross body bags, & shopping bags.
**Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Michael Kors, Dior, Birkin, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Dooney & Burke, Coach, Burberry, Bottega, Chloe, Prada, Chanel and YSL bags are not an exception to the bag policy!
Please inform everyone in your group about our bag policy.
Why do we have this policy?
- Our no-bag policy is in place to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. We harvest and distribute produce to grocery stores, farmers markets, and produce distributors, serving customers across Maryland and neighboring states. Because our produce reaches millions of consumers, we are committed to maintaining the same food safety standards for all customers—whether purchasing directly from us or through our retail partners.
- The no-bag policy also helps ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all guests in the fields. In the past, outside bags have contributed to inappropriate items being brought into and left within our food production areas. We want to ensure that all patrons can enjoy the fields without encountering items or conditions that detract from their overall experience. This policy helps us maintain a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
