Yes, We know the goat is out.
No you cannot bring strollers, bags, diaper bags, coolers, or blankets out to the Pick-Your-Own field. This policy is due to food safety regulations that do not allow us to permit specific items into our food production fields.
Due to food safety regulations, we cannot permit pets on the farm. ADA Service animals are permitted.
You do not need a reservation to pick, but it does lessen the time waiting in lines.
All Pick-Your-Own fruits are at the Orchard Market at the farm. The address is 1015 Baugher Rd, Westminster, MD, 21158
You must use one of our containers for Pick-Your-Own. You may bring back your plastic Baugher’s buckets from previous years for strawberries, sweet cherries and blackberries.
The Petting Zoo is next door to the Orchard Market, you can walk through the parking lots and down the hill or continue driving down Baugher Rd and the Zoo will be on the right.
Cash, check, Visa, MC, Discover, & Amex are all accepted here at Baugher’s.
Some outside vendors at the orchard may only take cash, so be prepared with cash. There is an ATM in the market for your convenience.
We may cancel picking if it’s raining, so always call the Pick-Your-Own hotline (410-857-0111) before you come out to see how the weather is affecting picking conditions.
If it rains while you are in the field/orchard, all customers are swiftly put back onto shuttle wagons and brought back to the market. Those who couldn’t fill their prepaid containers because of a rain out may be allowed to take fruit from the market (given manager approval).
Yes, there are restrooms at the Orchard Market, and port-a-pots in the orchard/field with a handwashing station attached.
We don’t conduct private parties at the orchard, but there are picnic areas and gazebos to gather around should you need it. However, keep in mind that there may be other customers around.
We do not.
Yes, given that you have permission if you involve other customers in the photos.
We would advise wearing older clothes that you don’t mind getting stained by fruit and closed shoes so you don’t trip in the field/orchard (on the ladder). Closed shoes are also better to wear in the petting zoo if walking inside the pasture (for obvious reasons 😊).
You can stay as long as you need to fill your picking containers.
No. We do appreciate those who bring their own reusable bags for their fruit.
